For
more than 20 years, Leonard has been at the forefront of the major
transformational changes that have shaped the ICT Industry, by working in many
roles ranging from infrastructure and applications architect to managing large
complex IT systems, including several years operating some of Australia’s most
secure systems. In this guise, he has been responsible for providing
mission critical support, strategic planning, ERP/CRM extensions, consulting and
hosted applications to large and medium-sized businesses, for private and public
sector clients across the Globe.
Additionally, Leonard has been responsible for thought leadership around
emerging technologies and solutions, specifically in the areas of Enterprise
Mobility, Trusted Cloud Services, Web Services, Cyber-security, and converged
ICT services. Working with global vendor and Carrier partners he has
industrialized and productized innovative Mobile, Digital Media, Wireless and
emerging technology based solutions.
With
extensive experience that spans multiple disciplines and numerous technologies
with implementations in the resources, manufacturing, utility, transportation,
financial services, health, government and telecommunications industries; Mr
Simmons has proven himself to be a most comprehensive and versatile IT
professional. His expertise has been forged by his attention to detail,
his knowledge of emerging technologies, their foundations and their practical
uses and an even greater ability to see the bigger picture.
